It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Janice LeBlanc, 69, of Fox-Creek, on Saturday, January 25th, 2025, at the Dr. Georges-L.-Dumont University Hospital Centre in Moncton.
Born in Moncton, she was the daughter of the late Alcide and Lina (LeBlanc) Cormier.
Janice will be sadly missed by her loving husband of 46 years, Terry, her two daughters, Sophie Toussaint (Stéphane), Rachelle Bourque (Marc), her four grandchildren, Mara, Félix, Mikayla, Alex, her three brothers, Bernard (late Liona), Gary (Gisele), Roger (Serge), as well as the many close relatives and friends.
Janice worked as an Administrative Assistant for the Department of National Defence for 21 years. After its closure in 1996, she went on to work for Primus Training and Consulting Associates, Atlantic Business College, and Pro Results Ltd.
The family would like to thank the staff at the Dumont Hospital, in units 3A and 3F, for the wonderful care they provided during the last nine months of her battle with Alzheimer’s.
A special thank you to the family and friends who devoted countless hours to provide support during these four difficult years.
Visitation will be held at the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Cooperative (363 Amirault Street, Dieppe, NB, E1A 1G1, 506-857-1901) on Friday, January 31st, from 2 to 4 pm and 7 to 9 pm only. Funeral service will be held in the Passage-Chartersville Funeral Chapel on Saturday, February 1st, at 10:30 am.
