Mar y D'AIGRE, wife of James GONSILE [GOUPIL dit GOUSILLE], made a petition on 26 Sep 1727 against Joseph BROSARD dit Beausoleil "for committing fornication with her Daughter Mary who being brought to bed of a Daughter had laid the Same to the Said Brosard, and he Refusing the Child Mentainance [sic] and Denying himself to be the father Prayed Releif [sic]." He was ordered nonetheless to Pay weekly maintenance payments of 3 shillings and ninepence until the child should be 8 years old, or go to prison. [Joseph BROUSSARD was born in 1702, was age 25 at this time. He had married Agnes THIBODEAU on 11 Sep 1725.]
  Notes	Un an après son mariage avec Agnes Thibodeau, il est accusé par Marie Daigre (*) d’engendrer et d’abandonner une fille illégitime "Marie" fille de Marie Moulaison, ce que Joseph nie ; Il a passé un certain temps en prison pour avoir refusé de pourvoir à l’entretien de l’enfant (*) Marie Daigle est décéder avant 1706 était la mère de Marie Moulaison née en 1703. La Marie (Daigre) mentionner en 1726 au Batêpme serait plutôt Marie Aubois qui marie Gabriel Moulaison en 1706, ce qui suggère une erreur du prêtre qui à confus Marie Aubois comme étant Marie Daigre.
