It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his passing on June 25, 2024, at the age of 79 years. Beloved husband of 54 years to Eva (née Thibeault) Bujold. Predeceased by his parents Alex and Gertrude (née Roy) Bujold. Devoted father of Sylvie and Christine. Cherished grandfather of Christiane, Éric and Noah. Dear brother of Guy and Jean-Yves. Equally missed by his niece, nephews, relatives, and friends. Gilles was an industrial electrician for 30 years. In the evenings, he would teach computer classes to students. He was an avid golfer. Every summer he would also teach golf to the Challenge. The family will receive relatives and friends at the Cooperative Funeral Home, 222 Lasalle Blvd, Sudbury on Saturday, August 24, 2024, after 10 a.m. followed by a funeral service at 10:30 a.m. in the Chapel. In lieu of flowers, donations by cheque or online to Lung Association or a mass to St-Dominique Church would be appreciated.
