  	Edith M. Burdett, age 75, of Metairie, Louisiana passed away peacefully on Friday, July 30, 2021. She is preceded in death by her parents the late Charles W. Burdett and Edith E. Howard Burdett, her siblings; Marion Joseph (John), Walter Burdett (Yvelle), Charles Burdett, Jr., Carol Bujol (Linden), Jean Ann Wolf (Ronald), Linda Mara (Gustave), and brother-in-law; William Monnier. She is survived by her sisters; Doris Bannon (Thomas), Geraldine Monnier, sister-in-law; Helena Burdett, along with a host of nieces and nephews. Edith worked for Wm. B. Reily & Co., Inc. for a number of years before retiring. She was also an active member of the Krewe of Aquila. An evening visitation for Edith will be held Tuesday, August 3, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 4747 Veterans Memorial Boulevard, Metairie, Louisiana. A visitation will occur Wednesday, August 4, 2021 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM,. A Mass of Christian burial will follow the visitation. Interment will immediately follow at Cypress Grove Cemetery, 120 City Park Ave, New Orleans, Louisiana.
