Wactor, Arlene BeJeaux "LaLee" Born April 17, 1943, she was a lifelong resident of Plaquemine and a retired business owner.
She went to be with the Lord in His heavenly home on Wednesday, Jan. 12, 2005. Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, 21420 Railroad Ave., Plaquemine, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday.
Visiting at the funeral home from 8 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 15, until 9:40 a.m. Religious service at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 57805 Main St., Plaquemine, at 10 a.m. Saturday.
Interment in Grace Memorial Park, 60455 Bayou Jacob Road, Plaquemine.
Cherishing memories of her are two daughters and sons-in-law, Vickie Lynn Cazes and Charlie Bernard, Slaughter, and Debra Darlene Cazes and Greg Humphrey Gulotta, Plaquemine; four grandchildren, Blake Gulotta, Jill, Sharon and Charles Cameron "Lil Charlie" Bernard; a special niece, Darlene Rouyea; and numerous other nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Two beloved friends, Charles Al Wactor and August C. Griffin Jr., surrounded her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Julia Witt and Xavier BeJeaux; two sisters, Annie Mae Young and Thelma Young Romig; and five brothers, Patrick, Earl, Joseph and Jerry Young and Numa BeJeaux.
Special thanks to the doctors and staff at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center, River West Medical Center, Renal Associates, Dialysis Clinic in Plaquemine, Iberville Parish Sheriff's Office and Medical Transport Division, LA Cardiology, Dr. Andriette Fitch and Dr. Jon Shalack.
Pallbearers will be J.W. Dupree, Tommy Johnson, Bryan Richards, Steve King, Joe Young and Kevin Dominigue. Honorary pallbearers are Sheriff Brent Allain, Mayor Tony Gulotta, Chief of Police Orion Gulotta and Earl Hernandez.
