- Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, January 16, 2019 in the Delhomme Chapel of the Flowers for Mrs. Dolores Bejeaux, 89, who passed away on January 13, 2019 at Lafayette General Medical Center.
Burial will take place in Calvary Cemetery.
Mrs. Bejeaux, a resident of Lafayette, was the daughter of the late Ackney Leblanc and the former Rose Folse. "Maw", as she was affectionately known, enjoyed participating in senior aerobics, attending her grandchildren and great grandchildren sporting events and having coffee every Tuesday morning at Johnston Street Java. Mrs. Dolores was a devout Catholic, a graduate of Mount Carmel and attended Mass daily as a parishioner of St. Genevieve. She was a loving, funny, opinionated, woman, with an infectious laugh and she will be dearly missed.
She is survived by her husband of 70 years, Donald Bejeaux; children, Donna Guy and husband Paul, Ernest Bejeaux and wife Lynette, Lisa Domingue and husband Paul, Francine Duhon and husband Nolan; grandchildren, Rachael Hidalgo and husband Tim, Toby Guy and Nicole, Joshua Guy and wife Keisha, Andy Guy and wife Felicia, Justin Guy and wife Ashley, Ashley Richardson and husband Cody, Matthew Bejeaux and wife Natalie, Nicholas Domingue and wife Lindsay, Ethan Domingue, Chad Duhon and wife Lisa, Melanie Nguyen and husband John; and 18 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ackney and Rose Leblanc; 7 sisters; and 3 brothers.
