- CLEBERT, JOSEPH ANTHONY "NUNU"
Died 3:20 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 19, 1992, at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center. He was 63, a native and resident of Plaquemine.
He was the retired business manager of Baton Rouge Building and Trades Council AFL-CIO with 12 years service and a U.S. Navy veteran of World War II.
Visiting at Wilbert Funeral Home, Plaquemine, 8 to 10:45 a.m. Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at St. Clement of Rome Catholic Church, Plaquemine, at 11 a.m. Monday, celebrated by Father Jerome Dugas. Entombment in Grace Memorial Park Mausoleum, Plaquemine.
Survived by wife, Gloria "Pim" Gomez Clebert, Plaquemine; mother, Virginia Orcino Clebert, Plaquemine; two daughters and sons-in-law, Denny and Eugene Bujol, Linda and Brian Chustz, all of Plaquemine;two sons and daughters-in-law, Edward and Julie Clebert, Johnny and Mechelle Clebert, all of Plaquemine; three sisters, Joyce and Shirley Daigle, both of Plaquemine, and Beverly Goudeau, Alexandria; eight grandchildren, Donnie Bujol, Shannon Clebert, Cherie Bujol, Corey Clebert, Jennifer Bujol, Kelli Clebert, Addie Chustz, and Joseph Anthony Clebert Chustz, all of Plaquemine.
Preceded in death by father, Eddie Clebert.
Pallbearers will be Edward Clebert, Johnny Clebert, Donnie Bujol, Corey Clebert, Joseph Anthony Clebert Chustz, Brian Chustz, Eugene Bujol, Lewis "Stag" Gomez, Anthony Orcino Jr. Honorary pallbearers are Hank Ognibene, Dr. Gerald Miletello, Mr. & Mrs. Jerry McKernan and staff, Sheriff Freddie Pitre, Chief Criminal Deputy Brent Allain, all deputies of Iberville Parish, all business agents of the Baton Rouge Building and Trades Council, AFL-CIO, Billy Guitreau, Jon Morar of Turner Industries, Jerry Covert and staff, Millard Bourgeois, Norman Francise, Joe Calcagno, Dr. David Depp, Frank and Catherine Ferachi.
He was a member of State Prison Enterprise Board and American Legion Post No. 167.
