- BUJOLD, Gertrude (née Roy)
Memère died peacefully in her own bed in Sudbury on April 14, 2008 in her 99th year. Daughter of Louis and Malvina and beloved wife of the late Alexandre. Loving mother of Gilles of Garson, Guy of Ottawa and Jean-Yves of Coniston. Adoring grandmother of Christine, Sylvie, Tanya, Pierre-Alain and Jean- François and great-grandmother of Christiane, Eric and Noah. Fond mother-in-law of Eva Bujold and Jane Coutts. Trained as a school teacher, Gertrude was a leader in Coniston and its parish of Notre- Dame-de-la-Merci for more than 60 years, founding secretary of the caisse populaire and caregiver to generations of children. Her funeral was held in Coniston on April 17. Donations in Gertrude's memory may be made to the C.N.I.B. or the Multiple Sclerosis Society of Canada.

BUJOLD, Gertrude (née Roy) - The family announces with sorrow, her death in Sudbury, Monday, April 14th, 2008 at the age of 98 years.
Daughter of the late Louis and of the late Malvina (née Berthelot) Roy.
Wife of the late Alexandre Bujold. Loving mother of Gilles Bujold (Eva) of Garson, Guy Bujold (Jane Coutts) of Ottawa and Jean- Yves Bujold of Coniston. Predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Adelard, Eulalie, Agnès Day, Albina Lapalme, Guillaume, Louis and Adolphe. Sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her grandchildren, Sylvie, Christine, Tanya, Pierre-Alain, Jean- François and her great-grandchildren, Christiane, Eric and Noah.
In her younger days, Gertrude was very active in her community, having been a member of the “Dames de Ste-Anne”, a member of “Dames auxiliaries” Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci and the first secretary at “Caisse populaire Roussell”, Coniston.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the CO-OPERATIVE FUNERAL HOME, 222 Lasalle E. (at Notre- Dame), Sudbury, Wednesday from 2-5 and 7-9:30 p.m. and Thursday after noon. Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated Thursday, April 17th, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci Church, Coniston. Donations to the C.N.I.B., Multiple Sclerosis Society or to the Charity of your choice would be appreciated

Prédécédée par ses frères et soeurs, Adelard, Eulalie, Agnès Day, Albina Lapalme, Guillaume, Louis et Adolphe. Ses petits-enfants, Sylvie, Christine, Tanya, Pierre-Alain, Jean-François et ses arrière- petits-enfants, Christiane, Eric et Noah garderont de doux souvenirs de sa tendresse.
Au cour de sa vie, Gertrude a été active dans sa communauté ayant été membre des Dames de Ste-Anne, Dames auxiliaires Notre-Dame-de-la-Merci en plus d'avoir été la première secrétaire à la Caisse populaire Roussell de Coniston.
La famille recevra parents et amis à la COOPÉRATIVE FUNÉRAIRE, 222 boulevard Lasalle E. (angle Notre-Dame), Sudbury, mercredi de 14 h à 17 h et de 19 h à 21 h 30 et jeudi après 12 h (midi). La messe funéraire sera célébrée le jeudi 17 avril 2008 à 14 h à la paroisse Notre-Dame- de-la-Merci, Coniston.
