- Emile J. Bujold Jr., 82, of Leominster, passed away Sunday, September 18, 2011 in the Highlands.
Emile was born in Fitchburg on February 3, 1929, son of the late Emile J. and Albertine (Boucher) Bujold. Emile proudly served his country in the United States Coast Guard during the Korean War. He later went on to work for Eyles Electric, Vaillette Electric, Seabrook Power Plant, and many other local and out of town electricians. He also belonged to Union Local number 96, formerly number 256. He enjoyed summering in Wells, ME and loved to golf. He was a very loving grandfather who always followed his grandson's sports.
He leaves his loving wife, Denise T. (Caron) Bujold of Leominster; his two sons, Thomas E. Bujold and his wife Paula A. (Tremblay) of Fitchburg, James A. Bujold and his wife Gail P. (Freyer) of Monmouth, NJ; two grandsons, Thomas J. Bujold of Fitchburg, and Alexander Bujold of Monmouth, NJ; one sister, Claudette Richards and her husband Edward of Fitchburg and FL; several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Mass will be held in Our Lady of the Lake Church, 1400 Main St. Leominster on Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. Burial will be private.
Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, assisted the family with arrangements. In lieu of flowers the family request that memorial donations be made to the Jimmy Fund, P.O. Box 849168 Boston, MA 02284-9168.
