| Photos |  | The Garland Hotel Elgin, New Brunswick, Canada Tradition says it was owned originally by John and Rachael (Berry) Garland. It was run later by Emma (Copp) Garland wife of Stephen. Later, when Emma and Stephen became elderly, their daughter Rachael (Garland) Geldart and her husband sold their farm in Mapleton and moved in with them. It had many names over the years.
