STACK-BUJOLD, WENDY - Wendy Stack-Bujold, 49, with her family by her side, passed away peacefully after a courageous battle with cancer on January 31st, 2010. Wendy was the daughter of Sylvia Fabiani and Terry Stack, Shediac. Besides her parents Wendy will be sadly missed by her husband Michel Bujold and daughters Jennie and Sarah of Pickering, ON; brother Steven (Lori), Vancouver, BC and sisters Lynn McLeod, Barrie, ON and Coleen Aldred, Moncton. Funeral services were held in Pickering, ON, February 3rd, 2010.

9014 Wilbur J. "Bo" Erickson, 73, Duluth, died Sunday, April 27, 2003, in St. Mary's Medical Center after suffering from Myeloid Dysplasia.

He was born in Tacoma, Wash., on July 8, 1929, to Erling Erickson and Josephine Johnson, and was a graduate of Two Harbors High School. Wilbur was an Army Veteran of the Korean War, serving with the 712 Transportation Railroad Operating Battalion. He married Patricia Bujold in Duluth on August 28, 1953. He worked with the railroad for many years, starting with the Northern Pacific and retiring as an Engineer with the Burlington Northern, in 1991. Wilbur was a member of Our Saviors Evangelical Lutheran Church and N.A.R.V.E.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and infant sister, Verna.

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; daughters: Linda (Pete) Bistis, Terry Jo (Ing) Stockland and Barb (Dirk) Gibson; son Tom (Michele); brothers: Dale (Anita), David (Bonnie); sisters: Mary (Dennis), Julie Fugelso; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Burial will be at Oneota Cemetery.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilda Marie Robert Hine, 89, will be held on Tuesday, December 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home of Jennings.

Visitation will be held Monday, December 21, 2009 from 3:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. A rosary will be recited Monday evening at 6:00 p.m.

Mrs. Hine died peacefully Sunday, December 20, 2009 at 5:55 a.m. at her residence.

Mrs. Hine was a native and lifelong resident of Jennings. She graduated from Jennings High School Class of 1937 and the New York School of Fashion and Design. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church and the Ladies Altar Society. Mrs. Hine was owner of the former Wilda's Fine Fabrics here in Jennings.

She is survived by four daughters; Genee' Foley and spouse Larry Foley, Jr. of Lafayette, La., Lanya Bujol and spouse Robert of New Iberia, La., Darla Bertrand and spouse Ira of Jennings, La., and Andra Oustalet and spouse Ronnie of Jennings, La., one son; Dane Hine and wife Debbie of Houston, Tx., a sister; Janice Glab of Baton Rouge, La., a brother; Edward Robert of Houston, Tx., 16 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

Mrs. Hine was preceded in death by her parents, Sidney L. and Edna Chatagnier Robert, her husband, Aulden E. Hine, a sister, Edna Cole and a brother, Sidney L. Robert, Jr.

9018 Willard James Bijold, who was born in Proctor and was a lifelong resident, died Fri., Nov. 21, 2003, in Minnesota Veterans Home, Silver Bay where he had been a resident since February. He was 84.

He was born at home to Bernard J. and Mary Anne (Gauthier) Bijold. He was a U.S. Army veteran of WW II and had been an employee of Duluth Missabe and Iron Range Railway for over 35 years, retiring as chief clerk. He was a member of St. Rose Catholic Church, Proctor, West Duluth American Legion Post No. 71, Proctor Moose Lodge No. 1302, AARP, NARVRE, DM&IR Veteran Employees Assn. and the Jack Meade Gun Club. Willard enjoyed hunting, fishing, his cabin at Aerie Lake and traveling across the U.S. with his companion Evelyn Mortinsen.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his wife Irene in 1995, seven brothers and a sister.

In addition to his longtime loving companion Evelyn Mortinsen of Proctor, Willard is survived by sisters Rosetta M. Shea of Prior Lake and Rita M. (Walter) Silvers of Duluth, several nieces and nephews, and his toy poodle 'Little Bit'.

Services were held Tuesday in St. Rose Catholic Church, Proctor, Rev. Fr. James Bissonette officiating. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery, with military honors accorded by the Duluth Combined Honor Guard.

Mills, Sr. of Zachary; a brother, A.C. McKowen, Sr., of Jackson; six grandsons; a granddaughter, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was the son of the late T.C. McKowen and Margaret Ann Germany; and was brother of the late Dr. John McKowen, Dr. Henry McKowen and T.C. McKowen, and Mrs. T.L. Mills, Sr.

He was a director emeritus of the Bank of Zachary, and was a member of the jury commission of East Feliciana Parish for 42 years, and also was an elder of the Plains Presbyterian Church.

Funeral services for Mrs. Wilma Mae Bujol Hebert, 97, of Jennings will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Monday, August 17th, 2020 at Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Father Trey Angie officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. on Monday and continue until time of service.

Mrs. Hebert was a devoted wife and mother. Mae loved her family fiercely, always making them feel safe and secure in her love. She prized education and championed her loved ones’ academic and athletic endeavors. She had a special relationship with each of her grandchildren, who delighted in her sense of humor. An avid reader, she inspired a love of reading in her family members. She was always ready with a listening ear and practical advice. She was a member of the Catholic Daughters of America and Ladies Altar Society. After the loss of her beloved son, Ron, Mae became very active in Compassionate Friends, the bereavement program at OLHC. Heaven rejoices at her return, and the world sighs at her earthly departure.

Those left to cherish her memories are daughters, Billie Marie (Gene) Haydel of Jennings; Annette Allen, Catherine Hebert and Myra (Mark) Hebert all of Lafayette; son, Chuck Hebert of Jennings; one brother, James Bujol of Las Cruces, New Mexico; grandchildren, Jon (Kim) Valdetero, Jason (Blake) Valdetero, Kelli (Luis) Ribera, Nicole (Isaiah) Pires, Ryan (Brandis) Phelan, Jena (Mike Fornal) Valdetero, Hayley Hebert, Melanie Hebert, Layla Hebert; twelve great grandchildren and a very special niece, Renee Bujol Myers.

Preceding her in death were her husband, Paul Hebert; parents, Orrin and Allie Guidry
Bujol; son, Ron Hebert; sons-in-law, David Valdetero and Mike Allen;two sisters, Helen Hale and Rose Bujol and three brothers, Warren, Donald, and Carroll (Chubby) Bujol.

9035 WINSLOW - James Andrew Veilleux, 80, of Winslow, was called to the Lord on Saturday, March 10, 2012, at Mount St. Joseph Nursing Home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fairfield, Nov. 30, 1931.

He was educated in local schools and worked for more than 41 years at Scott Paper Company. James had many things he enjoyed including bowling, horseshoes, gardening, country and gospel music, playing cards, family picnics and outings. He was a lifetime member of the Waterville Elks Lodge #905, a Third Degree Member of the Knights of Columbus, the Calumet Club, and served on the Board of Directors of KSW Credit Union. James was treasurer of the Local 431, past president of the Prime Timers Bowling League, Winslow Youth Hockey and Winslow Little League. He was also active in Babe Ruth Baseball and a former eucharistic minister of St. John the Baptist Catholic Church.

James was predeceased by four siblings, Frances Dugal, Marie Perry, Donald Vigue and Ursula Voisine.

9036 WINSLOW - Paula Veilleux, 86, of Winslow, was called to the Lord on Sunday, April 8, 2018, at Avita of Wells, after a long, courageous battle with Alzheimer's Disease. She was born on April 23, 1931, in Maria, Quebec. She was one of eight children of Eveline (Guite) and Leonard Bujold.

She came to Waterville in 1947, and worked as a seamstress at C.F. Hathaway, in Waterville.

At the age of 19, she met her husband, James Veilleux, at the roller rink. They were happily married for 58 years. Together they had six children.

Paula was a dedicated and loving wife and mother. She was also employed as a seamstress at The Curtainshop for many years. She was well-known for her mending skills within her family, friends and community.

She and James maintained a large vegetable garden, and canned a good portion of their produce. She was an excellent cook, known for her signature spaghetti sauce, and always enjoyed trying new recipes.

She also taught CCD at St. John's Catholic School for many years. In her free time, she enjoyed playing cards, going for walks, dancing, swimming, and spending time with her family.

Paula will be remembered as a gentle and loving woman, who was patient, and had a great sense of humor. The elaborate meals she made for holidays and family gatherings made those events even more special. She had the most beautiful eyes, and amazing smile, that would light up any room. She will be greatly missed by all those who loved and cared for her.

Paula is survived by her six children, David Veilleux of Dover, N.H., Dana Veilleux of Somersworth, N.H., Michelle Vigue and husband Michael of North Waterboro, Alan Veilleux of Winslow, Lee Veilleux and wife Stacy of Scarborough, and Eileen Veilleux of Westbrook; nine grandchildren, Mitchell, Dylan, Thomas, Melissa, Nicholas, Danielle, Brianna, Desirée, and Taylor; seven brothers and sisters, Adrienne Desveaux and husband Ted of Westbrook, Sr. Dorothy Bujold of Waterville, Leo Bujold and wife Olivette of Skowhegan, Noella Pelletier and husband Charles of Winslow, Fern Bard and husband Leland of Waterville, Harvey Bujold and partner Karen Nagle of Bonita Springs, Fla., Sr. Rita Bujold of France; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, James, in 2012.

The family would like to thank the outstanding staff at Avita of Wells, and Beacon Hospice, for their dedicated, professional service, and loving care they provided to Paula throughout her journey with Alzheimer's. Beloved wife of William (Buddy) and mother of Sandi.

She will be sadly missed by her immediate family and friends. Lovingly remembered for her smile, sense of humour and huge heart for everyone.

À l’hôpital de Maria, le 26 avril 2022, est décédé à l’âge de 89 ans et 11 mois, monsieur Yvon Guy Bujold, époux de madame Raymonde Bujold demeurant à St-Siméon.

Il était fils de feu Thomas Bujold et de feu Marie Anne Poirier.

Monsieur Yvon Guy Bujold laisse dans le deuil,
