7851 | This second wife may or may not have been Marie Pidianiskie, whose name was recorded as the mother of St. Castin's daughter Therese. This information came from the lawsuit of his brother in law, It is certain that the 'evidence" in support of Labaig's charges were both malicious and exaggerated. The probability is that Mathille was St. Castin 's only wife by Catholic marriage. Moreover, it could even be that Madame Mathilde de St. Castin and Marie Pidianiskie were both the same person. That is the bold suggestion of Pierre Daviauit a respected biographer, he believes that Pidinasiskie was the Indian name of St. Castin's wife and that Marie Mathidle was her name by Christian baptism. A plausible supposition. | Famille: / Marie Pidianskwe FILLE DE MADOCKAWANDO (ABENAKI- AMÉRINDIENNE) (F1530)

| THIBODEAU DIT LE MEUNIER (TIBEAUDEAU), Pierre (I2187)
