He was the son of the late Léona Bujold. Beside his wife Marlouche, he will be sadly missed by his children: Mona (Réal Guitard) of Whites Brook, Denis (Lorraine Landry) of Maltais, Claudette (Claude Boucher) of Maltais and Ghislain “Manac” (Tanya DeGroot) of Dundee; his grandchildren: Angela, Luc, Rock, Pierre, Tommy, Amélie, Gabrielle and Alexandre; his great grandchildren : Maïka, Mia, Zoé and Félix; his brother Pierre “Choune” of Montreal also by many members of the Haché family, nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his mother, sister Thérèse and his brothers Antoine and René. The funeral mass will be held on Monday August 20th at 1pm in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour. Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Peter & Amelia (Gaudet) Landry. Ernest worked as a Machinist for EnHeat Ltd. and was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church where he was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He served overseas in World War II. Ernest was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved spending time at his wood lot and at his cottage with his family. Miss Bujol was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of Jennings High School. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church. Survivors include two sisters, Wilma Mae Hebert of Jennings, Helen Hale of Austin, TX; two brothers, Donald Bujol of Lafayette, James Bujol of Las Cruces, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews. | 2498 | ETHEL ALICE BUJOLD 1932-2011 Tuesday, Dec 20, 2011 Ethel Bujold, 79, of Devlin, Ont., passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont. She was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Devlin to the late Frederick and Florence Greensides. On Aug. 3, 1955, Ethel was united in marriage to the love of her life, Alfred “Fritz” Bujold. Her only job since her youth was working at Greenside’s Grocery Store, and taking ownership of the store from her father in 1972 with her lifetime husband, Fritz. She was a faithful member of Guthrie United Church, where she played the organ for the past 67 years since she was 12 years old. Ethel loved music of all sorts, dancing and socializing with everyone. She also enjoyed the company of her “Birthday Club” friends and always remembered special occasions. She liked attending many concerts in the area, and also teas at many of the local churches. In the summers, she went to baseball games at the Devlin Ball Park and socialized with the younger people. Ethel also enjoyed family get-togethers, which never began until grandma arrived. Many lifetime memories were made at their cabin on Lake Despair. Her generosity and selflessness over the years was endless, and Ethel will be dearly missed by her family, church community, and many friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred “Fritz” Bujold in 1998; and three brothers-in-law, Jim Carmody, Thomas Forster, and Clarence “Buck” Bujold. Ethel is survived by her daughter, Pam Bujold of Devlin, Ont.; grandchildren, Joe Carlson (Tina), Bobbi-Jo Morken (Dean), Jason Carlson (Krissy), Jamie Carlson (Mandy), Julia Carlson (Dan), and Leona Carlson; and great-grandchildren, Jade, Connor, Jordon, Maggie, Blake, Courtney, Eric, Megan, Molly, Chelsea, Mackenzie, Jace, Danica, Maliyah, and Natalie. Also surviving are her sisters, Freeda Carmody of Devlin, Ont. and Audrey Forster of Fort Frances, Ont.; sisters-in-law, Gertie Bujold of Fort Frances, Ont., Darlene Hughes, and Joan Van Dam; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Guthrie United Church in Devlin. Rev. Frances Flook will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances. She had worked at Klearflax Linnen Loom, was clerk at the Minnesota Unemployment Office and Minnesota Inspection Office and retired as bookkeeper from the Good Fellowship Club Credit Union. Ethel was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Women of the Moose, AARP and the Viva Club. She was an avid cribbage player for over 20 years with the Duluth Women's Cribbage League. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Michael Lee Bujold and brothers, John and Thomas.
