Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 78, passed away Mr.
Ernest Bujold of Maltais, husband of Mrs. Marie-Rose
“Marlouche” (born Haché) Bujold. He was
the son of the late Léona Bujold.
Beside his wife Marlouche, he will be sadly missed by his
children: Mona (Réal Guitard) of Whites Brook,
Denis (Lorraine Landry) of Maltais, Claudette (Claude Boucher) of
Maltais and Ghislain “Manac” (Tanya DeGroot) of Dundee; his
grandchildren: Angela, Luc, Rock, Pierre, Tommy, Amélie,
Gabrielle and Alexandre; his great grandchildren :
Maïka, Mia, Zoé and Félix; his brother
Pierre “Choune” of Montreal also by many members of the
Haché family, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his mother, sister
Thérèse and his brothers Antoine and
René.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday August
20th at 1pm in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart
Church, Val d’Amour. Mr. Ernest Bujold will rest
at Savoie Funeral Home in Campbellton on Monday from 11am till time of funeral. A donation to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Ernest Edward Landry, 86, of Amherst, passed away on Monday, March 28, 2011 at the Cumberland Regional Health Care Centre.

Born in Amherst he was a son of the late Peter & Amelia (Gaudet) Landry.

Ernest worked as a Machinist for EnHeat Ltd. and was a member of the Holy Family Parish Church where he was a 4th Degree Knight in the Knights of Columbus. He served overseas in World War II. Ernest was an avid hunter and fisherman, and loved spending time at his wood lot and at his cottage with his family.

Ernest will be sadly missed by his daughters; Judy Bourque (Paul) of Moncton, Linda Rhindress (Terry) of Amherst; sons, Ernest (Ruth) of Amherst, Bill (Carolyn) of Moncton, NB, Fred (Susan), Amherst, Stephen (Juliette), Amherst; sister; Isabel "Bella" Tower, Amherst, NS; seventeen grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.

Besides his parents he was predeceased by his wife Louise; sisters Rita, Yvonne & Agnes; brothers, Louis, George, Edgar, Clarence, Fred, Aurele and Meddie.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Furlong-Jones Funeral Home, 70 Church St. Amherst, NS (667-8777) where visiting hours will be held Wednesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 pm. Funeral Mass will be held at the Holy Family Parish on Thursday, March 31, 2011 at 11 am. Burial will take place in the St. Charles-Nativity Cemetery later in the spring.

A resident of Donaldsonville and retired operator with South Central Bell and AT&T, she passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 13, 2012. She was 74 and a 1956 graduate of Ascension Catholic High School.

She was a member of the St. Francis of Assissi Altar Ladies and a longtime supporter of The Telephone Pioneers.

Visiting will be at Ourso Funeral Home, Gonzales on Wednesday, October 17 from 5 pm to 9 pm. Visiting will resume at St. Francis of Assissi Catholic Church Smoke Bend, Donaldsonville from 9 am until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 am, Father Paul Yi officiating. Burial to follow in church cemetery.

She is survived by her daughters; Diane Ayo, Sharon Gilly and husband, Todd, Michelle Reine and husband Robert "Hoss" and honorary daughter, Karen Ayo; sisters, Jeanette Maher and husband Kenneth, Sr., and Evelyn Comeaux and husband, Donald; brother, Russell Bujol and wife Brenda; four grandchildren, Danny Farris, Jr., Russell Ayo, Leann Ayo, and Brett Reine; seven great grandchildren, Kristopher, Dylan, Emma, Roman, Silas, Ruston Jr., and Carter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Clark; parents, Paul "Sweet" and Lovell LeBlanc Bujol; son-in-law, Russell Ayo; a brother, Linden Bujol; and mother and father in law, Leo and Esther Clark.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to Dawn, our loving friend and Lynn who made us laugh with the Ascension Parish Council on Aging; Dawn, Shelly, Emma and participating staff from St. Joseph's Hospice; Dr. Cary Aguillard and Staff; Landry's Pharmacy; Father Paul Yi; and Mrs. Mabel Savoy. Very special thanks to Karen Ayo and Cindy Wiley who were true daughters to our mom. We could not have taken such good care of mom without you both, much love.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Gisèle (Yvan Michaud), Pauline, Baudoin (Patricia Philip), Daniel (Ann Parker), Martine (Terry Traer), Josée (Éloi Doucet) et Lucie. Il laisse aussi ses sœurs; Clémence et Marie, ainsi que plusieurs petits-enfants et arrière-petits-enfants. Funeral services for Miss Esther Rose Bujol, 85, will be held at 1:00pm, Tuesday, April 2, 2013 in Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church with Rev. Charles McMillin officiating.

Burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery under the direction of Miguez Funeral Home.

Funeral home visitation will be Monday, April 1, 2013 from 4:30 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.; and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday until time of services.

A rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m., Monday in the funeral home chapel.

Miss Bujol died at 5:26 a.m., Friday, March 29, 2013 in the Camelot Brookside Nursing Home in Jennings.

Miss Bujol was a lifelong resident of Jennings and a graduate of Jennings High School. She was a member of Our Lady Help of Christians Catholic Church.

Survivors include two sisters, Wilma Mae Hebert of Jennings, Helen Hale of Austin, TX; two brothers, Donald Bujol of Lafayette, James Bujol of Las Cruces, New Mexico and many nieces and nephews.

Her nieces and nephews loved their special Aunt Rose very much.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Orin Joseph and Allie Mae Guidry Bujol; and two brothers, Warren Bujol and Carroll "Chubby" Bujol.

Ethel Bujold, 79, of Devlin, Ont., passed away Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011 at La Verendrye General Hospital in Fort Frances, Ont.

She was born Nov. 17, 1932 in Devlin to the late Frederick and Florence Greensides.

On Aug. 3, 1955, Ethel was united in marriage to the love of her life, Alfred “Fritz” Bujold. Her only job since her youth was working at Greenside’s Grocery Store, and taking ownership of the store from her father in 1972 with her lifetime husband, Fritz.

She was a faithful member of Guthrie United Church, where she played the organ for the past 67 years since she was 12 years old.

Ethel loved music of all sorts, dancing and socializing with everyone. She also enjoyed the company of her “Birthday Club” friends and always remembered special occasions.

She liked attending many concerts in the area, and also teas at many of the local churches. In the summers, she went to baseball games at the Devlin Ball Park and socialized with the younger people.

Ethel also enjoyed family get-togethers, which never began until grandma arrived. Many lifetime memories were made at their cabin on Lake Despair.

Her generosity and selflessness over the years was endless, and Ethel will be dearly missed by her family, church community, and many friends.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred “Fritz” Bujold in 1998; and three brothers-in-law, Jim Carmody, Thomas Forster, and Clarence “Buck” Bujold.

Ethel is survived by her daughter, Pam Bujold of Devlin, Ont.; grandchildren, Joe Carlson (Tina), Bobbi-Jo Morken (Dean), Jason Carlson (Krissy), Jamie Carlson (Mandy), Julia Carlson (Dan), and Leona Carlson; and great-grandchildren, Jade, Connor, Jordon, Maggie, Blake, Courtney, Eric, Megan, Molly, Chelsea, Mackenzie, Jace, Danica, Maliyah, and Natalie.

Also surviving are her sisters, Freeda Carmody of Devlin, Ont. and Audrey Forster of Fort Frances, Ont.; sisters-in-law, Gertie Bujold of Fort Frances, Ont., Darlene Hughes, and Joan Van Dam; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, Dec. 22, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at Guthrie United Church in Devlin. Rev. Frances Flook will officiate, with interment in Riverview Cemetery in Fort Frances.

Family and friends may visit Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 from 6:30-8 p.m. at Green Funeral Home in Fort Frances.

The pallbearers will be Joe Carlson, Jason Carlson, James Carlson, Dan Jourdain, Dean Morken, and Murray Carlson.

The honourary pallbearers will be Ethel’s family and friends.

2318 Ethel Denio Bujold, 96, of Duluth, died Oct. 28, 2009, at St. Mary's Hospice with her family by her side. She was born in Deer River, Minn., on March 10, 19l3 to Michael and Margaret Denio.

She was a 1931 graduate of Denfeld High School. She married Adelard Bujold in Duluth on Sept. 18, 1937. She had worked at Klearflax Linnen Loom, was clerk at the Minnesota Unemployment Office and Minnesota Inspection Office and retired as bookkeeper from the Good Fellowship Club Credit Union.

Ethel was a member of St. James Catholic Church, Women of the Moose, AARP and the Viva Club. She was an avid cribbage player for over 20 years with the Duluth Women's Cribbage League.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband; infant son, Michael Lee Bujold and brothers, John and Thomas.

Ethel is survived by her children: William (Dawn Garness), Mary Vork, Betti (Michael) Perfetti; grandchildren: Jason and Adam Vork and Tara Bujold; a great-grandson; and many nieces and nephews.

Ethel Bujold of Stirling and formerly of R.R. #3 Trenton in her 77th year.

Beloved wife of George Bujold and the late Harold Sullivan.

Dear mother of Larry Sullivan of Oshawa. Fondly remembered by her stepchildren Linda Buxton and husband Ray of Cambridge, Maurice Bujold of Brighton, Raymond Bujold of Pickering and Michael Bujold and wife Sue of Kendal, as well as her nine grandchildren. Predeceased by her sisters Olive, Rena and Isabel.

Resting at the Frankford Funeral Chapel, 40 North Trent Street, Frankford.

Visitation will be held in the Chapel on Tuesday, August 26th, 2008 from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m.; followed by a Service of Remembrance conducted by the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 387 at 11:00 a.m. Funeral Service will follow in the Chapel at 11:30 a.m. Father Stephane Pouliot officiating. La famille recevra les condoléances le vendredi 4 mai 2018 de 14 h èa 17 h et en soirée de 19 h èa 21 h au salon funéraire de New-Richmond

Les funérailles auront lieu en l’église de St-Alphonde de Caplan le samedi 5 mai 2018 à 10 h 30.

Avec le cœur lourd, la famille souhaite annoncer le décès de notre bien-aimé Euclide Bujold à l'âge de 79 ans à la Résidence St-Joseph à Maria le 11 décembre 2023. Il a vécu la majeure partie de sa vie à Cap-Noir, originaire de Caplan, et a été le fils de feu Edna Blanchard et feu Hubert Bujold.

Euclide venait d'une famille nombreuse et avait de nombreux amis proches et voisins qui l'aimaient beaucoup et qui lui manqueront.

Outre sa bien-aimée épouse Sharon Woodman, (chérie) de près de 60 ans, monsieur Bujold laisse dans le deuil :
ses enfants : Sylvianne (Benoit) et Michel (Sarah);
ses petits-enfants : Jessica (Gino) et Steven;
ses arrière-petits-enfants Mya et Dylan;
ses frères et sœurs : Patrick (feu Ginette), Richard, Yvette (Roland) Sylviane et Gaston (Jeannette);
ainsi que plusieurs belles-sœurs et beaux-frères, cousins, cousines, ses neveux et nièces et plusieurs parents et amis(es).

Il était le frère de feu Dolorès, feu Simone, feu Ador, feu Denis, feu François, feu Jacqueline, feu Marie-Louis et feu Solange.

Un merci chaleureux au personnel soignant du CHSLD de Maria pour les bons soins apportés ainsi qu’à Dre Claire Bellemare.

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of Eugene “Gene” Maurice Bujold at the Maria Hospital, Maria, QC on December 20, 2022 at 75 years of age.
Born in Fleurant Point, QC on August 19, 1947, he was the youngest son of the late Maurice Bujold and the late Iola Court Bujold.

Gene was a graduate of Dalhousie High School, and of the Bathurst Trade School where he ranked first in his class of Stationary Engineering. He was employed by various businesses including Soldiers’ Memorial Hospital in Campbellton, NB. Gene was very grateful and proud to tell everyone that he achieved more than 24 years of total sobriety.

He is survived by his brothers: Sterling (Buzz)and Dot of Fleurant, QC; and Edward (Ed) and Ivy of Fredericton, NB, as well as several nieces and nephews. Also surviving are his aunts Maida Hunter, Jackie Rimell and Berthe Boucher. Gene was predeceased by his parents, and by his sister, Alice (the late Guy Tassé).

We wish to thank Kathy Levesque, Thérese et Gilles Gravel, Normand Doucette and all of the many Staff members who cared for Gene over the past 18 years in your special Residences in Pointe-à-la Croix, Carleton-sur-Mer, and St.-Omer, respectively. A very special “thank you” to Mado Rioux for the extra special attention and devotion to Gene’s needs during the past five years. He was a native of St John the Baptist Parish, LA. His widow and three children, a boy and two girls, all young, survive. Interment was in the family grave in St. John the Baptist cemetery, Edgard, LA.

He will be sadly missed by his children; Dorilda (Rosaire Gendron), Fernand (Ginette Ferguson), Aurele (Solange Daigle), Carmelle, Jean Marie (Cecile Saucier), Bruno , Mario (Tania Cavanaugh) all of Cross Point, Claude (Diane Gauvreau) of Calgary and Carole (Laurin Dufour) of Pointe-a-la-Garde; his 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren; his sisters and brothers Florida Helene "Deda" Glazer of Fredericton, Alma Paradis of St Arthur, Gerard Bujold of Campbellton, Gilberte Bujold of Miguasha, Rita Bujold-Basque of Campbellton, Micheline Bujold of Moncton, Nicole Bujold of Dieppe, Michel Bujold of Campbellton and also by his nieces, nephews and friends.

2345 Eva "Jean" Bijeaux, 87 of Port Acres, Texas, passed away on Thursday. March 16, 2017 at The Medical Center of Southeast Texas in Port Arthur.

Eva was born in Port Neches, Texas, on September 29,1929 to parents Aline (Prevost) and O'Neil Joseph Blanchard.

She had lived in Port Acres since 1951 and was a lifelong member of St. Therese Little Flower of Jesus Catholic Church. Eva was a member of the Kaycettes: the women auxiliary of the Knights of Columbus Council #3195. She worked in housekeeping for many years at Mid-Jefferson Hospital and Holiday Inn. Eva was also a volunteer at St. Mary's Hospital as a Pink Lady. She enjoyed sewing and working in her flower gardens. Eva was a loving person who loved spending time with her family and friends. And she will be dearly missed; she was known for her beautiful smile all the time.

She was preceded in death by her parents: her husband Simon Bijeaux: sons, Simon Herman Bijeaux, Billy Bijeaux: her daughter, Sharon "Sherry" McKnight.

Those left to cherish Eva's memory are her daughter, Michelle Davis and husband, Steve: her son, Johnny Bijeaux and wife, Denise; her sisters, Betty Anna Brown and Barbara "Bobbie" Blum; eight grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren and numerous niece and nephews.

The death of Eva Gallant Bujold of St-Arthur, occurred at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on February 13, 2006, with her family by her side at the age of 81.

Born in Campbellton, she was the daughter of the late Matilda Anne Pineault and the late Frank Gallant.

She will be sadly missed by her beloved husband Patrick Bujold of St-Arthur which they just celebrated their 60th Wedding Anniversary. Eva was a special and exceptional mother to John Gallant (Karen) of Caledon, Ontario, and Allan Gallant (Margaret Leblanc) of Paris, France; and cherished grandmother of Natalie and Blaise; her sisters: Rita Blaquiere of Campbellton and Jacqueline Roy of Montreal, Qc, and her brother Ralph Gallant of Montreal, Qc. Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will fondly remember Eva.

She was predeceased by her parents, her sisters: Agnes and Eveline, her brothers: Henri and Arthur. The funeral was held from Notre Dame de Fatima Church in St-Arthur on February 16, 2006, officiated by Father Emile Godin, with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. Funeral arrangements were placed in the professional care of Savoie Funeral Home, Campbellton.

À la Villa Providence, le samedi 5 janvier 2008, à l'âge de 80 ans, est décédée Évangeline "Nin" Comeau, épouse de feu John H. Comeau, domiciliée à la Villa Providence, mais autrefois de la rue Main à Shédiac.

Née à Campbellton le 12 juillet 1927, elle était fille de feu Philippe et Ethel Bujold.

Une épouse, mère et grand-mère dévouée, elle manquera beaucoup à ses cinq enfants: Joanne Comeau (Derrick Allen) et Suzanne Comeau (Mike Chadwick), toutes deux de Shédiac, Kathy Roth (Randy) de Moncton, Marc (Hélène Morin) de Courtice, Ont. et Mike de Dieppe; deux frères: Lomer Bujold (Germaine) de Moncton et Arthur Bujold de Campbellton; huit petits-enfants: Luc, Mathieu, Natalie, Kevin, Andrew, Vanessa, Denis et Élyse.

En 1949, Mme Comeau a reçu son diplôme de l'Université St. Francis Xavier. Elle a été diététicienne à l'Hôpital Hôtel-Dieu et à l'Hôpital de Moncton et enseignante à la polyvalente Louis-J.-Robichaud à Shédiac, en sciences familiales, avant sa retraite.

Elle était membre du Club des Lions et du Club Silver Sands de Shédiac. Son époux, John, l'a précédée dans la tombe en 1991.

Les funérailles ont eu lieu en l'église Saint-Joseph de Shédiac, le mardi 8 janvier. L'inhumation se fera au cimetière paroissial de Shédiac.

À la demande de la famille, un don à la Fondation Villa Providence ou à la banque alimentaire du Vestiaire Saint-Joseph de Shédiac serait apprécié. 2348 Eveline Guite Bujold, 100, a resident of the Waterville and Winslow area since 1945, died at a local nursing home on Sept. 7, 2000. She was born in Maria, Quebec, a daughter of Joseph and Winnifred Guite.

Mrs. Bujold was a well-known seamstress.
She was active at St. Francis de Sales Church here and later at St. John the Baptist Church in Winslow, where she was recently honored as the oldest parishioner. She belonged to the Ladies of St. Anne and participated in the church choir and various church functions.
Her interests included dancing, playing cards and traveling. She had also organized several bus trips.

She married Leonard Bujold in 1923. He died in 1953.

Surviving are six daughters, Mrs. Ted (Adrienne) Desveaux of Westbrook, Sister Dorothy of Bongounou, Africa, Mrs. Leland (Fernande) Bard of Waterville, Mrs. James (Paula) Veilleux and Mrs. Charles (Noella) Pelletier, both of Winslow, and Sister Rita of Saco; two sons, Leo of Waterville and Harvey of Bonita Springs, Fla.; four brothers, Rene of Waterville, Joseph of Maria, Quebec, Raymond of Victoriaville, Quebec, and Edouard Guite of Montreal; four sisters, Anne Marie Bourassa of Winslow, Berthe Cormier of St. Simeon, Quebec, Geraldine Cormier of New Richmond, Quebec, and Simonne LeBlanc of Maria; 26 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
